Christine Nelson has been fighting for the rights of injured California workers for over 15 years. A 1993 graduate of Southwestern Law School, Christine has experience representing injured workers as well as insurance companies.
I have been working at the firm for under a year. I have an Associates degree in Marketing and a Bachelors degree in Business Management from San Diego State University. I love the passion Christine has for her clients and I am happy to be a part of the business as it expands.
I am a husband and father of two as well as a 13 year veteran of the United States Navy. I am currently completing my undergrad in English at Arizona State University while preparing for law school in the fall. As a disabled veteran myself, I understand the frustration and uncertainty that can come from work place injuries and the subsequent process for receiving benefits. I look forward to exceeding our clients’ expectations and handling their cases in an expedient, professional manner.
My undergraduate curriculum’s emphasis in business law as well as my brother’s work related injury has developed my interest and professional goals, namely a career in workers’ compensation. In 2009, I chose to advance my concentration in workers’ compensation by interning for a Christine’s firm, which led to my position as a legal assistant.
I work as a Legal Assistant at The Law Office of Christine T. Nelson. I have been employed with the firm since Christine Nelson decided to open the Lancaster location in July 2013. I have over three years of Workers Compensation experience. I have been given the incredible opportunity to work hand in hand with the attorney Christine Nelson.
I have been with the Law Office of Christine T. Nelson since September of 2015 and my training includes a webinar for the state bar of workers compensation 101. Knowing that our clients are getting the best representation has made my work experience at the law office very fulfilling.
My name is Zadelle Van Auken. I have always found the law environment to be interesting and challenging. The California Workers’ Compensation system offers both. I enjoy the satisfaction of helping the injured worker and work hard for them to achieve the best possible outcome for their claim.
